I’ve gotta tell you, it hit me pretty hard this morning when I woke up and realized that my Christmas list must have gotten lost in the mail. Clearly no one answered my #1 on said list; for all Mondays in 2015 to be left out. Tough.
Welps, I guess since we are going to have to endure this day I shall share a recipe to make the day better for all of us. The first monday of the year just requires sprinkles, don’t you agree?
Oh, and chocolate. Although, I hardly need to mention that as it’s a given. Chocolate is absolutely vital if there is going to be any amount of sanity today, for reals.
I know that we need to be good this month after the holidays and all of the over indulgences so I’ll share some healthier recipes too but today just required a little splurge. Plus, we are finally experiencing hot weather here in the south so we’ve got to keep our cool somehow. Don’t worry though, these are just as enjoyable as a way to salute the winter season for those of you up north.
Okay, I feel like complaining about these pictures but I’m going to try to restrain myself this year. Let’s just say that off-white backgrounds are not my forte and leave it at that.
Ingredients Instructions
So are you a fan of sweets things dipped in chocolate and then dipped in more sweetness? If so, then you are in luck today because I made these simple frozen pudding pops that only require a little of your time in between freezing and they are so much fun to make with kids. I dipped mine in an assortment of things, sprinkles, peanuts, and even some granola. The topping possibilities are pretty endless. How about M&Ms or candy bar pieces?
These are so customizable. Try dipping them in white or milk chocolate instead of dark and if you are a major chocoholic then try them with chocolate pudding. I posted the chocolate variation of this pudding recipe in this recipe and it’s just as easy. I mean, you literally just add cocoa to the mix.
